Acadiana Hydrographics offers a variety of patterns and colors to give your item the look you desire or to bring and old item back to life. We offer DuraCoating and Hydrodipping both giving you the ability to completely customize the item of your choice.

What Items can be coated?

Any item made of plastic, metal, or wood that electronic parts can be removed prior to coating.

Hydrodipping:

Hydrodipping is the process printing a pattern onto a three dimensional figure. Once the item is cleaned and prepped for paint a solid color base coat is applied to the item. The pattern of choice is then laid onto the water in a dipping tank and sprayed with a special formulated activator transforming the film from solid to liquid. The item is then dipped into the pattern and rinsed immediately after leaving the tank to wash off excess residue. Lastly the item is coated with DuraCoat clear coat either matte or gloss to ensure a strong protective finish.

Duracoating

DuraCoat it a two part paint manufactured for coating firearms but can be used on a wide variety of materials. The items is cleaned and prepped for paint by either bead blasting or hand sanding then sprayed with the solid color DuraCoat desired. Items can be coated in multiple colors for custom preference.

Gun candy

Gun Candy is a metallic additive to give your project a look that is sure to turn heads. Items are prepped in the same way for Gun Candy as they are for DuraCoat. The Gun Candy is then added into DuraCoat clear coat and sprayed over a DuraCoat base coat.
